2004 Big 12 Men's Golf Championship


9th Hole at Prairie Dunes

The 2004 Big 12 Men's Golf Championship will be held for the seventh time in eight years at Prairie Dunes Golf & Country Club April 26 and 27.

The tournament features a 54-hole format on the par 70, 6,593-yards course with 36 holes played on Monday, April 26, followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday, April 27.

Prairie Dunes hosted the first six Big 12 Men's Golf Championships before the 2003 tournament was played at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla.

Texas is the two-time defending Big 12 champion after firing an 894 last year. Oklahoma State's Hunter Mahan was 1993 medalist with a 208.

In the seven previous Big 12 Men's Championships, Oklahoma State has captured three Big 12 titles followed by Texas with two, and Kansas and Baylor with one each.
